The Ford GT40 has been immortalised in the movie Le Mans ’66 (Ford v Ferrari). Whereas the film centred around the works MkII cars and their drivers, there was a supporting cast of privately entered Mk1 cars too, which included this Scuderia Filipinetti car driven by Sutcliffe and Spoerry. This fast and well handling slot car is packed with high-end racing components which includes a separate sidewinder mount fitted with a SHARK motor rated at 21.5k rpm.
